Kemah, Texas
Extreme Makeover
Concentrated movements and motions, I just had to take a deep breath and try to feel my way through what seems like absolute chaos in motion. Blue shirts in action, intensely working together, trying to put this giant piece of puzzle together in a very short time. My challenge was to convey the spirit of the project on to images.
Lisette Templin practiced architecture for fifteen years before becoming a photographer. Her original studio was established in Auburn, Alabama where she taught architectural design and construction science at Auburn University. She found that many of the same issues that attracted her to architecture also drew her to photography, namely the pursuit of a sense of timelessness and a fascination with light and shadow.
Establishing her first photo studio in historic downtown Bryan, and now in the Lighthouse District of Kemah, Lisette's work has gained a reputation for warmth and a depth of understanding of the human spirit.
Lisette holds degrees from Texas A&M and the University of Houston. She is married to Kelly and has three children.
Welcome! I am honored to have you visit my site. I take great joy in sharing the images that capture special moments.
Through the medium of photography, I hope you will enjoy my journey from behind the lens.
